Because accurate forecasting can impact homebuilding business models in so many positive ways, Mortgage Funding Direct Ventures routinely provides our builder partners with a number of data-rich reports that facilitate backlog and pipeline management.
- Pre-Qualification Report: Sent weekly, this report lists all potential buyers that have contacted a loan consultant and have been pre-qualified.
- Contract Report: Sent weekly, the Contract Report lists the mortgage status of each sales contract written during that week. Tracking expedient loan applications ensures the contract is moving forward and approvals are in process.
- Customer Satisfaction Report: Distributed monthly, this report card measures our customers' satisfaction. We survey our clients at the closing table and respond to any customer rating that is below standard with immediate attention, both written and verbal. We want to learn from their experience and rectify any issues within our control because we strive for excellence and continue to grow with each experience. We want our clients to know we care.
- Financials: Monthly distribution that is a transparent accounting of all transactions.
- Capture Reports: Measures capture, not only as a percentage, but with a full understanding of lost capture. A builder lender will not obtain 100% of all purchases. Not every lender can meet the needs of every purchaser, and there are transactions in which a customer should use another lending source. The communication is key and with teamwork we can serve the majority of customers financing their homes.
